Would you ever use a powertool without reading the instruction manual or make a soufflé when you can barely boil an egg?

Of course not. As parents we make plans, find a place to live, are job trained or educated in our profession. And yet the most important thing that we can do or be comes with no training or instruction.

The absence of training for parenthood is astonishing in light of the emphasis on preparation for every other occupation or profession. That's why as a mother of two and an early childhood educator I founded ParentTeach.

Through ParentTeach, you can meet for one-on-one instruction with trained parent skills coach, Dayle Lynn Pomerantz.

Dayle is a resource for parents. Through private consultations she provides individualized advice and coaches parents on their parenting journey. She gives you new, relevant information for a particular parenting challenge.

Dayle helps you discover constructive ways to address a situation, assists you in identifying your goals, and helps you with designing action steps to attain them. She encourages you to evaluate strategies you have in place, address stresses and challenges and then works with you to discover solutions.
